Lovely car. In 2017 I was thinking about buying an Elan M100 but didn't go through with it. We don't see many of them on here. If you don't get much success with your questions, there is another excellent forum (besides this one) www.Lotuselancentral.com that has some very knowledgeable people

Amazing car.  I am seriously trying  to justify buying one too.  You have some great fun ahead 👍 enjoy!

@MrWill Haha, there are two identical threads. I did see the other thread and wondered where my post had disappeared to.

@DeanB @Fox Dean is right, it would be good to see it on a run out. This is definitely the best forum for meeting up and going out for a drive. Great bunch of people and easy to get on with.

Nice to see an M100. Would be good to see it out on a Sunday morning meet.

Agree, looks lovely

If you fancy a Sunday morning meet , we could travel in convoy from Huddersfield 🙂

Congratulations on getting your M100 Elan.

If you don't already know there is an excellent independent Lotus specialist very near Huddersfield - Chris Foulds at Honley.  He knows all the older and newer cars inside out.  Veery knowledgeable, helpful and genuine.  He will not find things to do on a car just to boost the cost to you.  He's an excellent source for parts and information regarding them.

👍🏼

Yep, I think I broke something when I posted! Sorry for the confusion. Definitely would be up for a meet up at some point!

Thanks Oakman. I actually went to see Chris for some advice before I took the plunge. Really nice, down to earth guy. Will definitely be back to him for help :-D

Hey all, it’s taken a while (after asking questions here http:// https://www.midlandslotus.co.uk/forum/topic/70475-dropping-in-to-say-hello-%F0%9F%91%8B/) but I finally took the plunge and I’ve had this for a couple of weeks now. Got LOADS of questions about bits and pieces that need doing, but for now I thought I’d share the new member to the forum!
